Last week, the HCI team embraced the festive spirit a little early as we came together in the office to pack Christmas shoeboxes for Teams4U, a charity that delivers gifts to children who might otherwise receive nothing at all this season.
Throughout November, our team members signed up to take part and began gathering items for their shoeboxes, choosing an age group and planning any personal touches they wanted to add to the essentials provided. On Christmas Jumper Day, we brought everything together and packed the boxes as a team with a real sense of shared purpose.

Each shoebox is now filled with thoughtful gifts, from toys and stationery to hygiene items and warm winter accessories. These boxes will soon be on their way to disadvantaged communities across Eastern Europe, where they will bring joy, comfort and a reminder that someone, somewhere, cares.
Community involvement has always been an important part of life at HCI. Our people consistently show generosity, compassion and a willingness to get involved, qualities that strengthen our culture and help us make a meaningful contribution beyond the work we do every day. This was another example of that spirit in action.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, and to Rebecca for organising a smooth and spirited effort. We are proud to support Teams4U and the brilliant work they do, and we hope these small gestures bring a smile to the children receiving them this Christmas.

From all of us at HCI, wishing you a warm and joyful start to the festive season.
